Henry “Hank” Meyer died at home November 14, 2008.  He was born September 30, 1931 in Staten Island, NY to Henry Sr. and Elizabeth Strobel Meyer, the oldest of nine children.  He graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1948 and attended NY City College before enlisting in the Navy where he served aboard the Pacific Fleet during the Korean War.  After discharge he worked for the Army at Ft.
